Last year we participated in the Kennedale Art in the Park and had an interview with the organisers about the experience with the show. It was our first year to participate. This year they are hosting the event again and is going to be on April 4-6, 2014. There were several vendor interviews, so be patient. So without further ado, here is the interview with Mami Creations’ owner:

Just a moment to say Happy New Year to everyone. And also to thank each and everyone that has been a part of our family and supporting our business.
A lot has happened during the year from increasing the number of like on our Facebook page, adding more followers on twitter, getting reviews on our website, and more importantly having each and everyone of you as a customer. Your support to us means a lot and we could not have been where we are without your encouragement to not stop making the products we make.
We also added a few other products to our previous line. We added dead sea bath salts, Rose lip conditioner, Clove and Oatmeal Soap, and some other products. Some of which are being worked onto our website like one of the most requested Cedarwood soap. This coming year we are working on a number of things, keep your eyes on our Facebook, twitter pages, and our website and blog to be updated on what we are working on. I would also recommend signing up for our newsletter, we promise you we never send too many email.
We wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year. May God bless you all .
What happens when simplicity connects with beauty is an astonishing product. What we mean is when it came to the formulations of our facial beauty bar, we opted for simplicity in the formula and the end result after use. Our Mud Soap is made with many reasons in mind and I will highlight the benefits of the soap and how it can be used.
Let’s get started. Dead sea mud has a lot of benefits including regulating the blood circulation, maintaining healthy skin cells, and repairing healthy skin cells. The mud also has some grains that are vital in skin cleansing, removal of dirt and pollutants, detoxification, among other things. That is why may people go to the spa to have a mud facial. Take a pick. That is why we decided to add Mud Soap to our product line. The Soap that we make can be used by both people with dry or oily skin as it helps to balance the skin. It is also a natural moisturiser that helps hydrate and soften the skin without any cosmetics. It is one of the best acne treatments.
Using the mud soap on a regular basis helps exfoliate dead skin cells revealing a healthy skin layer – beauty at it’s best. Dead sea mud also helps in preventing and curing a lot of skin disorders like eczema, psoriasis, itching.
How To Use
Apply some water to your face
Apply the soap directly to your face in circular motion
Cleanse your face ( or you can let the soap sit for a 5 to 10 minutes)
Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry your face
You can chose to apple one of our Shea body butter.
Dry skin is usually a long term problem that recurs often, especially in the winter. Dry skin results when there is not enough water in the stratum corneum(outmost layer of the skin) for it to function properly. One cause of this is when oils that are normally present in the skin are lost. They are lost due to exposure to harsh chemicals, the normal aging process and/or certain types of skin diseases where the amount of protective oils are decreased.
Proper Bathing Techniques
A foundation of management of dry skin is attention to proper bathing techniques and moderate use of effective moisturizers. Although long baths or showers, especially in hot water, are soothing they will also decrease the amount of the skin’s natural oils. Your bath or shower should be in warm water rather than hot and for (no more than 10 minutes). Be sure to use soaps that are milder, gentle and less drying. After bathing or showering, quickly and gently pat the skinpartially dry with a towel (do not rub!). Within three minutes of getting out the water apply a moisturizer to seal the water in the skin before it can evaporate.
Our Shea Body Butter is an effective moisturizer that traps moisture in the skin, make the skin softer, smoother and less likely to become dry, cracked and itchy. It does contain any chemicals that can cause skin irritations or allergic reactions. More about Shea Body Butter . Get rid of the winter dry skin.
